The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description.
1. CLASSIFICATION
1.1 Classification. This commercial item description covers cotton wadding in the following sizes (see table I and 5.2):
Sizes
1 43.5 - 45.0 inches wide
2 59.5 - 61.0 inches wide
2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS
2.1 Description. The wadding sheets shall consist of 100 percent cotton fiber natural color, unbended, clean and free of excessive foreign matter.
2.2 Physical requirements. The cotton wadding sheets shall be in two sizes and shall conform to the physical requirements listed in table I, when tested as specified in 3.2.2 and 3.2.3.
